The Faculty of Management was created pursuant to the decision of the Minister of National Education on 3 August 1993. First students were enrolled for the academic year 1993/1994. At the beginning the Faculty had the right to conduct the bachelor’ studies in the field of management and marketing. On October 1, 2010, the Faculty changed its name to the Faculty of Management. Gradually the educational offer has been expanded upon other majors adapted to the needs of economy. The graduates of the Faculty of Management obtain the title of bachelor, engineer or master. Apart from the rich education provided, the Faculty of Management is also taking the lead in coordinating the research work and didactic process which benefit to region’s economic development.
Currently, the Faculty of Management has its own lecture halls and modern laboratories. The building S, where the seat of the Faculty is located, has won the prize in the category of “Public utility, industrial and housing investments” in the contest organized by the editors of Nowiny newspaper.
