About the Faculty

The Faculty of Management was created pursuant to the decision of the Minister of National Education on 3 August 1993. First students were enrolled for the academic year 1993/1994. The logo of the Faculty was designed in 2000 and it has been a well-recognizable graphic element of the academic entity since then. In summer term of 2001/2001 two foreign students from Portugal started their studies at the Faculty within the Socrates-Erasmus student exchange program. Since then the Faculty has been trading off students with universities from many countries worldwide. At the beginning the Faculty had the right to conduct the bachelor’ studies in the field of management and marketing. Gradually the educational offer has been expanded upon other specializations. Currently the Faculty is offering the following courses:

  • Internal Security
    • first-cycle full-time and part-time studies
    • second-cycle full-time and part-time studies
  • Logistics
    • first-cycle engineering full-time and part-time studies

  • Management
    • first-cycle full-time and part-time studies
    • second-cycle full-time and part-time studies
  • Management in Sport
    • first-cycle full-time studies

The graduates of the Faculty of Management obtain the title of bachelor, engineer or master. After the completion of first-cycle studies students can continue education at second-cycle studies both extramural and intramural. Students of the Faculty develop a broad view of the subject much appreciated by employers, but also can choose from a very wide range of specialist options. Our graduates develop their managerial, financial or entrepreneurial skills, and go into commerce, financial services or start their own companies.

Apart from the rich education provided by the Faculty and adapted to the demands of the local market place, it has also taken the lead in coordinating the research work and didactic process which benefit to region’s economic development. The Faculty has been cooperating with many institutions from Rzeszów and the Podkarpackie Province.

On 1st December at the Faculty was established the Centre for Postgraduate Studies which provides an impressive range of postgraduate programs which are designed to respond to the requirements of both career-minded graduates and prospective employers. The Faculty also got an approval to set up Off-campus Didactic Centre in Stalowa Wola.

From 1 October 2010 the Faculty changed its name to Faculty of Management. At the same time, the main building of the Faculty is the S building of the University Campus.
